What time does the Cajun Heartland State Fair open each day? - The Cajun Heartland State Fair opens at 5pm on weekdays and 12 noon on weekends.

Does my parking ticket allow me to leave and return later? - No, we have a no re-entry policy. Upon returning you will have to pay the $10 parking fee again.

Is parking available for the disabled? - Yes. Vehicles must have either designated license plates or a hangtag to park in these spaces. There may be extra demand for these spots on our busy nights. We suggest you arrive early. Please visit our ADA page for more information.

May I bring a stroller, child's wagon or a motorized wheelchair? - Yes. You may bring your own wheelchair, electric cart, wagon or stroller.

May I bring an Ice Chest to the Cajun Heartland State Fair? - No. Ice chests are not allowed.

What about pets? - No. Pets are not allowed.

What about bikes, skates or skate boards? - No. Bikes, skates or skate boards are not allowed.

Can I get cash on the fair grounds? - Yes. ATMs are located on the grounds. There is a service charge. Look for signage or ask someone on our staff for assistance. Personal checks can not be cashed on the fair grounds.

I have a ticket to an event in the CAJUNDOME, not associated with the Cajun Heartland State Fair. Do I pay the Parking fee when I attend this event? - Yes. Because the parking fee is not included in the price of the ticket to the event.

What about the concerts at the Cox Communications Grandstand? - All concerts on the Cox Communications Grandstand are free to Cajun Heartland State Fair patrons. It is standing room only, so come early for a chance to be up-front and close to your favorite stars. The Cox Communications Grandstand is located at Gate 12 near the Convention Center entrance on Souvenir Gate.
