Krewe Seasonal Parties

The Table Room is a brand new 300-person capacity venue located on the West side of the CAJUNDOME's main lobby that is scheduled to open in January 2020 and the perfect venue for your next Krewe event.  The venue will be open for bar service during major CAJUNDOME events but is available for private rental on non-major event days.

The space was once a large storage area that housed equipment, file boxes, and as its namesake suggests, tables. The renovated space will serve as a new beverage outlet, featuring a sports bar atmosphere.

To schedule a tour of the venue or for more information on booking the Table Room for a private event, please give us a call at 337-265-2100.

KREWE OF XANADU

Why Our Signature Color is PINK!
In 1998, the ball entertainment featured dancers with costumes and pink wigs. The first wigs were the hot pink page boy styles. The ladies wore the wigs on the parade float that year and pictures of Xanadu parade ladies hit the papers!!!! Ladies then started wearing large hot pink beads to go with the pink wigs. They were a hit!!

When you saw a pink lady you knew she was a member of the Krewe of Xanadu! Pink became our signature color.

KREWE OF TRITON

The Krewe of Triton was founded and held its first annual Tableau and Ball in 1980. The initial philosophy of the Krewe was to create a "working man's krewe" that welcomed all who wanted to enjoy the fun and merriment of Mardi Gras. The membership is restricted to men over the age of 21. Rather than pick our royal court based upon a point system as many traditional krewes do, we chose to return to the original method of random luck to choose our king, queen and court.

In 1993, the Krewe of Victoria was formed by eight ladies: Debbie Landry, Phyllis Bergeron, Carolyn Guilbeaux, Nancy Sutton, Teresa Meza, Mary Romagosa, Aimee Waguespack and the original president, Wendy Harwood. Wendy's Canadian background provided the impetus to form a Victorian-inspired krewe and thus, with The Coronation of Queen Victoria as its first ball theme in 1994, the Krewe of Victoria was launched.
