The CAJUNDOME opened in November of 1985 and has established itself as one of the premier entertainment, business, meeting and convention centers in the South.

In 2002, the Convention Center opened to further maximize the convention and trade show business opportunities. The success of the CAJUNDOME can be directly tied to the venue's professional management staff who are constantly working to maximize the building's potential. As a result, the CAJUNDOME has become known as one of the most innovative and successful venues of its type.

Weddings & Private Events

The experienced staff of the Convention Center has the resources, experience, and professionalism to handle any need in-house, whether a passed hors d'oeurves reception for 50 or a formal dinner for over 2,000 featuring authentic Cajun cuisine, complex sound, and lighting for elaborate shows or private wireless telecommunications networking.

Mardi Gras Balls

The CAJUNDOME & Convention Center is host to several Mardi Gras balls and socials of various sizes throughout the year. If your Krewe is looking for a new or larger venue for your next ball or event, we hope you'll consider the experienced staff and venues of the CAJUNDOME & Convention Center. 

Event Planning Tools

Utilize this section to ensure the process of planning your event is easy and organized. We provide tools that allow you to check availability and insurance requirements in addition to providing easy to use software to layout your event. Event Marketing tools are provided to help guide and promote all publicly ticketed events. For all booth vendors, you can also request your electrical, internet and telephone needs here.

The Table Room

The Table Room is a brand new venue space that will provide an additional entertainment space featuring full bar service including beer, specialty cocktails and premium wine selections. The Table room is located near the west side of the CAJUNDOME's main lobby. 

When the Light's on, the Party's on! The Table Room will provide an opportunity for concert and event patrons to arrive early and socialize with friends, family and other guests. The Table Room will be open for ticketed guests during major CAJUNDOME events including Ragin' Cajun Basketball games. 

The Table Room is also available for private event rental on non-major CAJUNDOME event days for meetings, social events and more. This unique space is sure to wow your guest!
