Tickets are not required by guests to attend the ceremonies. 

University Police will examine the contents of all purses, bags, packages, etc. of persons entering the venues.

CLEAR BAG POLICY FOR CAJUNDOME & CONVENTION CENTER EVENTS

Each ticket holder, including children, may carry one approved clear bag, such as a one-gallon clear storage bag or clear purse no larger than 12" x 12" x 6". The following bags will be permitted inside the CAJUNDOME & Convention Center and are subject to search.

• Gallon size clear plastic storage bag.
• Clear bag equal to or smaller than 12" x 12" x 6" 
• A clutch or purse smaller than 7" x 5"
• Equipment bag for necessary medical items.
• Diaper bag for age-appropriate children accompanied by an adult.

Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: large purses, duffle bags, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, mesh bags, or any bag larger than the permissible sizes mentioned above. Tinted or printed-pattern plastic bags are not clear, so they will not be permitted.

DO NOT BRING: large purses, bags, backpacks, wrapped gifts or items that could block the view of others (i.e. large balloon, signs, etc.).

Dress

Cap and Gown

• What to wear underneath: Dark and weather-appropriate clothing.
• Bachelor’s Candidates
  • Cap & Gown (Graduation Regalia) is Red.
    • The tassel should hang to the right side of the face.
• Master’s Candidates
  • Cap & Gown (Graduation Regalia) is Black.
    • The tassel should hang to the left side of the face.
• Doctoral Candidates
  • The tassel should hang to the left side of the face

FOOTWEAR

• It is strongly recommended that you wear comfortable shoes that are easy to walk and stand in.
  • During line-up you will be standing for at least 45 minutes.

Student Parking

• Enter GATE 8 via West Congress Street or GATE 11 via Reinhardt Drive. Your cap and gown serve as your parking pass. If the parking lot fills up, you'll be directed to Cajun Field.

Guests Parking

• • Park at Cajun Field and utilize the pedestrian underpass to cross Cajundome Boulevard.
  • Those with handicap tags or placards should enter through the ADA parking lot entrance.
    • If the ADA Parking Lot becomes full, the parking attendant will permit vehicles to drop off their family members closer to the venue doors.

DROP OFF

To drop off guests, please enter through Gate 14 on CAJUNDOME Blvd and follow the driveway to the drop-off point. Exit through Gate 12 on Reinhardt Drive and proceed to Cajun Field for parking.
